Senior Account Executive - Luxury Goods

Senior Account Executive - Luxury Goods NYC in-person & hybrid remote optional

The Senior Account Executive role requires you to be able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously by leveraging your dynamic interpersonal skills and goal-oriented attitude to close transactions. You will focus on engaging high end luxury customers and utilizing empathy and consultative selling skills to build trust and advance them through the sales cycle.

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with consumers who have submitted their high-value jewelry through the Worthy website
  • Consistently interacting with customers daily through phone calls, emails and text messages; exceeding 80+ phone calls/day and 3+hrs of talk time
  • Strategically work with management to understand and maintain a pipeline of items above $10,000 in value
  • Drive conversion and manage KPIs of your book of business on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Manage the full cycle sale of each consumer, from initial conversation to final payment on their item(s)

Who You Are

  • Proactive self-starter, highly independent, motivated and resourceful to reach and exceed sales goals while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Closer mentality with the ability to manage multiple customers concurrently at various stages of the sales process

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high volume inside sales role, technology or high-end jewelry background preferred
  • Experience consistently dealing with $10,000+ deal size
  • Business development mindset focusing on driving sale opportunities while operating in a fast paced, fluid operating environment
  • Consistent record of hitting and exceeding quota with heavy sales activity
  • Sensitive to issues of urgency and be able to take ownership in escalating customer concerns as needed
  • Expertise with CRM functionality (i.e Salesforce, Hubspot)
  • Located in a city in Eastern, Central or Mountain time zones

Chief of Staff

Operations Team NYC in-person & hybrid remote optional

As our Chief of Staff, you will be working directly with the CEO and the rest of the Executive team to help the company reach its next evolution of growth. We are looking for a jack of all trades, someone who can think strategically about the future of the business while simultaneously driving spotless execution in the weeds. You should yearn for new and growing challenges, be an amazing communicator and be able to develop smart, structured processes. You must possess an entrepreneurial sense of ownership, be results driven and be an amazing problem solver-- from the ability to do complex analysis to conceptual thinking. This role is based in New York City. You will be required to be in the office for part of the week and can work from home on some days. Only New York City based applicants will be considered.

What You'll Do

  • Drive improvements in all company communications: to investors, to potential investors, to employees, to the board, to prospective partners.
  • Own and run quarterly company prioritization processes.
  • Manage discrete process improvement projects to be determined in cooperation with the CEO and management team and quickly implement them.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
  • Experience using data to analyze performance and drive strategic decision making.
  • Proven capabilities in evaluating operational gaps/ weaknesses.
  • Experience building investor presentations a bonus.
  • Ideally located in New York City or remote for the right candidate. Role will be flexible hybrid (1-3 days per week).

Gemologist

Operations Team NYC in-person

The gemologist role focuses on the evaluation of the luxury goods we list in our online auctions. The gemologist will be responsible for providing the gemological information for each listing as well as auction resale price generation.

The Ideal Candidate Possesses

  • Ability to grade, evaluate and price a large volume of diamonds, jewelry and gemstones.
  • Keen eye to scrutinize auction items in order to detect and reject items that fall below our minimum requirements, such as imitations and synthetics, as well as damaged articles.
  • Sense of urgency to ensure timely and reliable product flow through collaboration with receiving and photography teams.
  • Organization skills required to route incoming items to appropriate third party grading labs as needed.
  • Diligence to regularly monitor daily auction activity.
  • Flexibility in regard to work schedule.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced startup environment.

Qualifications

  • GIA Certification: Graduate Degree (GG)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • 1-3 years related jewelry experience with a diamond/gemstone focus

Luxury Office Coordinator

Operations Team NYC in-person

As our Operations Administrator, you will be working with our Operations and Gemology Team out of our NYC lab and office 5 days per week. You will be responsible for operational tasks in our jewelry and auction processes. This role will require exemplary attention to detail, efficient use of technology platforms and equipment, care when handling jewelry items, and effective communication with your teammates.

What You'll Do

  • Work with our varying external vendors; meeting them in person at the GIA, IGI, and GHI.
  • Clean jewelry to be prepared for photographing and recording for the auction on our site.
  • Use our 360 videography equipment to record videos of diamonds and gems.
  • Manage data and inventory by entering grading certificates and other item details on the jewelry into our proprietary database.
  • Assist the rest of our operations team with inventory and shipping/receiving tasks such as getting items shipped back to sellers and sending out Ship Kits to new sellers.
  • Build good relationships with the operations and gemology team to work seamlessly across all stakeholders.
